We always promote the local capacity in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry, through active participation of Nigerians in the industry to add value to the Nigerian economy without compromising standards by utilizing local raw materials and human resources; thereby promoting a steady, measurable and sustainable growth. With an established Nigerian Content policy to encourage and develop local entrepreneurship in all our areas of operation and methodical building of capacity and capability with local materials and human resources, Romson has fostered a peaceful and business friendly environment within the Host Communities by developing local skills / technology transfer. Furthermore, our NC Policy is embedded into our Quality management system (QMS ISO 9001: 2015) which guarantee the proper evaluation and review of the products and services being rendered across all company operations.
Capacity building / Technology Acquisition & Knowledge Transfer Plan are key ingredients of our Local Content Policy, which is aimed at giving local personnel on the job training (OJT), experience and certifications. Our state-of-the-art OGTAN certified training facility for Anti-corrosion wraps creates a conducive environment to give our personnel a competitive edge in the industry and gain experience in our facilities in country or of our technical partners abroad,

ROMSON will continuously Comply with all applicable guidelines issued by the NCDMB in implementing the NOGICD Act by undertaking the following steps: 

  • Giving Nigerians first consideration for employment and training (Training Pic)
  • Procurement of equipment and materials manufactured in Nigeria ( Oxifree/Trenton/composite wraps)
  • Providing structured training and skills development of Nigerian employees for effective transfer of management and technical skills (Training certificate)
  • Engagement of Nigerian Subcontractors and service 
  • Maintaining good relationships and engaging the local communities in which we always work.
  • Monitoring the activities of our subcontractors to ensure that they are consistent with Nigerian Content Development requirements and all applicable laws.
